Since the end of the 2022-2023 season, the Liverpool board and Jürgen Klopp began to plan their next moves for the transfer market, as they intended to be one of the most active teams, but the reality is that they have had many problems to make signings.

Liverpool already managed to secure their first reinforcement with the arrival of Alexis Mac Allister, who after a great season with Brighton and after winning the World Cup with Argentina in Qatar 2022, arrived at Anfield to be one of the main players around which the team's new project will be built.

However, it was said that Mac Allister's arrival would only be the first step and that after his arrival other players would join the club this summer, but the board has not yet managed to secure the second reinforcement, despite the fact that Klopp's list of targets is quite long and there have even been contacts with the boards of other clubs.

One of the players that has most interested Jürgen Klopp to reinforce the team is the 20-year-old Dutch defender Micky van de Ven, who according to various sources would be very interested in playing for Liverpool and be under the wing of Virgil van Dijk. But everything seems to indicate that van de Ven could move away from Anfield as there is another team that would also be interested in him.

Micky van de Ven's possible new destination

After weeks in which Liverpool's interest in Micky van de Ven has been reported, it seems that the Wolfsburg player could arrive in the Premier League this summer, but not at Anfield. Fabrizio Romano claimed that Tottenham now appear to be closer to van de Ven than Liverpool themselves.
