Liverpool manager Jürgen Klopp confirmed on Friday that injuries to Darwin Núñez and Roberto Firmino have been confirmed, adding to the Reds' injury list which already includes Luis Díaz, Virgil Van Dijk, Diogo Jota and Arthur Melo. Klopp said they are awaiting further information on Darwin's fitness problem, who could miss this weekend's clash with Brighton & Hove Albion.
"He has not been able to train, but we are going to wait," said Klopp, who also confirmed Firmino's relapse, who will still be out for several days. Initially it was going to be something for 10-14 days, but Bobby (Firmino) has felt something that is going to extend it. He's not close to being back in training yet," the German said.

Firmino has not played since a friendly against Milan in mid-December and is suffering from a hamstring problem. Jota is also out with a hamstring problem, while Diaz is out until March with a knee injury and Arthur Melo is also out with a serious muscle problem. James Milner and Stefan Bajcetic are back in training.
"Injuries are a big shadow for all of us because you cannot sort it in the transfer window, sometimes you have to, but usually we just have to get through until the boys get back. The transfer market, for us, in this moment, is not the solution."
