Little by little, the new team that Jürgen Klopp intends to form is starting to take shape. After a disappointing season in which the team was left out of the next edition of the Champions League, the German tactician has reportedly decided to begin a restructuring of the squad and now has two new players who promise to be fundamental pieces for Liverpool's new project.

Alexis Mac Allister was the first signing of the summer transfer window. The 24-year-old Argentine midfielder arrived from Brighton & Hove Albion after a great season in which, in addition to qualifying for the Europa League, he was crowned world champion with Argentina's national team in Qatar 2022.

The second reinforcement is Dominik Szoboszlai. The 22-year-old Hungarian midfielder is considered the Bundesliga's biggest jewel and one of the most promising talents in world football. The Liverpool board paid 70 million euros for him to RB Leipzig, as that was the amount of his termination clause and the team wanted to avoid lengthy negotiations with the German club, so now he will arrive at Anfield with the promise of revitalizing the team's midfield.

However, after those two signings in which the club has disbursed around 110 million euros, Jürgen Klopp would still be looking for one more reinforcement to finally complete the renewal of the midfield that he has sought so much after the departures of Naby Keita, Jems Milner and Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain.

The final reinforcement Klopp wants

For weeks now, even before they tried to sign Dominik Szoboszlai, Liverpool have been trying to finalize the arrival of Khéphren Thuram, as Jürgen Klopp believes that the 22-year-old French midfielder could be the missing piece that would take Liverpool back to the Champions League and even allow them to think about winning the Premier League title.
