The last month of the year 2022 has started with excellent news for football fans in Colombia, the national team and of course Liverpool. Luis Fernando Diaz is fully recovered and is back in training with the English club. As stipulated, his return had been marked for the first days of December and that forecast has been fulfilled to the letter.

On their official social media, Liverpool confirmed that 'Lucho' is ready to return to action. The player has resumed training with Liverpool's first team and is already under the orders of Jürgen Klopp. As the Qatar 2022 World Cup draws to a close, the Caf attacker will use the next few weeks to get himself physically fit before returning to Premier League action.

Unsurprisingly, the announcement generated uproar among Liverpool fans. With that in mind, the club took the opportunity to film the Colombian just as he was sharing a couple of touches of the ball with star player Mohamed Salah. It is worth remembering that both missed the World Cup after their respective teams failed to qualify.

Diaz, Salah and the rest of the Liverpool players who did not make the trip to Qatar 2022 have been reunited and are currently in Dubai in the United Arab Emirates. Luis Diaz is still working to fully recover from his knee injury, a problem that Liverpool gave a very good news about the Colombian player and that made their fans very happy.

The player has been working out for several weeks to be able to return to his team, where he was in Colombia at the headquarters of the national team, so much work has already brought good results to the skilful attacker. Through its Twitter account, Liverpool confirmed that 'Lucho' returned to the field work, so his full recovery would be very soon to be given and could play some minutes in the friendly matches in the coming days against Lyon and AC Milan.
