After Brighton disaster, Klopp says no more signings but this striker will return for love of Liverpool

An injury-time winner from Japan's Kaoru Mitoma helped Brighton eliminate defending champions Liverpool 2-1 in the last 16 of the FA Cup on Sunday. The Reds continued their sluggish run of form and left Brighton with one of their best chances of finishing the season with a title.

Jurgen Klopp's side took the lead on the half-hour mark through Harvey Elliott's counter-attacking strike, which proved decisive in the 1-0 win over Wolverhampton in the previous round. In a post-match interview, German manager Jurgen Klopp said there would be no more signings in the winter transfer window. However, the new face the team could have in the next few days is striker Roberto Firmino, who could return from injury in two weeks.
