This season continues to be a very difficult one for the Reds, where good results have kept the team's hopes of becoming champions at this level high. This has brought big problems to the team led by Jürgen Klopp, who week after week seems to have a great job, as Liverpool's injuries have been very continuous.

While this has been a serious problem, the solution has been very practical, as the players who cover the injuries are giving great results, making the absences of different players go unnoticed. It has only just been revealed that after the Arsenal game they have left one more injured player on Merseyside, as vice-captain Trent Alexander Arnold now appears to have a knee injury. Pep Lijnders said Trent Alexander Arnold suffered a hyperextended knee during the last game. So he will be out for a couple of weeks. Which leaves Klopp in a dilemma, as he has been left without many options at full-back. While Joe Gomez has done a great job of covering most of the team's defensive losses, the absence of Kostas Tsimikas and Andy Robertson complicates the situation a lot.

So Jürgen Klopp will be forced to use youth players, and Conor Bradley has already had a bit of involvement with the main squad after his injury, so he could be the main replacement for Trent's position. Bradley being perhaps Klopp's first choice to replace the vice-captain of the team.

Klopp's best option is on his bench and has just returned

The second option could be Anfield newcomer Owen Beck, who although left-footed, could play on the left while Joe Gomez could play on the right, the best scenario for the Reds, given Bradley's lack of continuity after his recent return from injury. So Klopp, despite the injuries, still has a number of options in his squad.
