The injuries continue on Merseyside and while this short break has helped Liverpool's recovery, it is likely that Andy Robertson, Dominik Szoboszlai and Trent Alexander Arnold could return to action against Bournemouth. This is excellent news, as Jürgen Klopp is slowly but surely getting his full squad back.

While these have been very sensitive absentees for the team, none have posed a real challenge, as for the most part the players who do get the chance to play tend to do so quite well, covering the team's needs. So far no injury has stopped the team from performing well.
The great stability at Anfield is largely due to their leaders, who have guided the team well under the instructions of Jürgen Klopp. Alisson Becker, Mohamed Salah, Virgil Van Dijk, Trent Alexander Arnold and Andy Robertson are the main pillars of this team. Despite this, only one of them is currently an irreplaceable player.
So far Virgil Van Dijk is the only player who would have no replacement on Merseyside, because although at the moment the level of Joe Gomez and Jarrell Quansah is quite good, however Virgil not only brings his high level of play, as the captain of the team, is who carries a great responsibility to be bringing his experience and his great leadership, maintaining that great stability that has given so much fruit this season to the Reds.

Not Salah, the injury that has Jurgen Klopp and everyone at Anfield most worried
Not just Mohamed Salah's injury, the other bad news for Klopp
Both Mohamed Salah and Virgil Van Dijk are two of the best players in the world and at Anfield, so their leadership is paramount for Jürgen Klopp. Salah is a player who tends to show his teammates by example, doing great things on his own and as a unit. On the other hand, Van Dijk is quite a demanding captain, as he always seems to be giving orders to his teammates, so as well as leading his teammates by example, Van Dijk takes the lead and orders his team from back to front, thus giving great structure to the team.
