Despite their European efforts, Liverpool haven't reaped the benefits as Arne Slot and his team make their way to Paris for a mid-week clash against a team that's been tearing it up.

Ligue 1 table-toppers PSG will entertain Lille this evening following an impressive February where they hit the back of the net 32 times in just eight matches.

The quality of opponents may not match Liverpool, but after a resounding seven-goal flurry against Stade Briochin in the French Cup quarter-final on Wednesday night, striker Goncalo Ramos issued a stark warning: "Every competition is an objective for us."

Just ten days prior, they recorded another seven-hit thriller over Brest in the Champions League, rounding off a massive 10-0 aggregate win, and previously put five past them in their domestic league meeting.

Although capturing their first-ever Champions League title remains a tough ask for the Qatari-backed outfit, manager Luis Enrique is crafting a cohesive side in the shadow of the Kylian Mbappe era.

The stats tell the tale.

Over 38 games spanning four different competitions, they've notched 101 goals and maintained a 21-match unbeaten streak, victorious in 18 with this season's sole losses reserved for the Champions League group stage.

And those losses were to Arsenal, Atletico Madrid, and Bayern Munich teams tipped as serious contenders from the very start.

Ousmane Dembele's relationship with the club's top brass may have hit a rocky patch in the past, but his stats of 25 goals and five assists across all competitions tell a story of reconciliation and performance. Notably this term, though, the burden is distributed more equitably among the squad.

Bradley Barcola boasts an impressive record with 16 goals and nine assists, while Lee Kang-In and Achraf Hakimi have contributed their share too, boasting figures of six and four and five and ten respectively. Ramos has racked up 12 goals himself, a fine tally considering he missed the start of the campaign due to an ankle injury that necessitated surgery.

"Three goals and an assist are fantastic for me," he shared post-match following the recent Cup victory. "Some players are coming back from injuries and no one got injured which is good for us."

And let's not overlook the enigma that is Khvicha Kvaratskhelia, who joined the fray from Napoli just last month and is getting acclimated to his new team environment.

With Ligue 1 seemingly in the bag, given their comfortable 13 point lead and an undefeated streak on the horizon, they look more secure than Liverpool does atop the Premier League charts.

Nonetheless, manager Enrique won't let complacency set in as they inch closer to the season's zenith challenge. "You have to be ready and clinical," he asserted in a recent statement, a sentiment that Slot could very well reiterate.
