Liverpool are reportedly considering a move for Eintracht Frankfurt's attacking midfielder Omar Marmoush as they continue to pursue Napoli's Khvicha Kvaratskhelia.
The Reds have been heavily linked with a move for Georgian international Kvaratskhelia, who has been a revelation in Serie A since joining Napoli from Rubin Kazan. However, the Italian club are reluctant to sell their star player, and Liverpool may need to look at alternative options.
One such option is Omar Marmoush, the talented Egyptian winger who has impressed for Eintracht Frankfurt since joining from VfL Wolfsburg in 2021. Marmoush has shown great promise in the Bundesliga, and his versatility and ability to play in a variety of attacking positions make him an attractive prospect for Jurgen Klopp's side.
The 24-year-old has been particularly impressive this season, contributing to Frankfurt's success in both the Bundesliga and the Europa League. His pace, dribbling skills, and eye for goal have made him a fan favorite at the Commerzbank-Arena.
However, Liverpool are not the only club interested in Marmoush. Several other top European sides have been monitoring his progress, and a bidding war could ensue if the Reds make a formal offer.
While Liverpool are exploring other options, they have not given up on their pursuit of Kvaratskhelia. The Georgian winger is seen as the ideal player to add creativity and flair to Klopp's attack. However, Napoli are determined to keep hold of their star player and will demand a hefty fee to sell.
Liverpool's interest in Omar Marmoush highlights the club's proactive approach to the transfer market. While Kvaratskhelia remains the primary target, the Reds are exploring other options to strengthen their squad. Marmoush's talent, versatility, and relative affordability make him an attractive proposition, but Liverpool will face stiff competition from other clubs if they want to sign him.
