The Reds have 25 goals scored, while the Citizens have 24 goals scored, making them by far the better side with the most goals scored and the fewest goals conceded, making it clear that these teams are favourites to win the title, and former Manchester United star Gary Neville has already made his prediction.

While the competition will be tough and the teams will need to be consistent for as long as possible, the Reds will be looking to acquire a number of players this winter to maintain a high standard in all competitions and become champions. So on Merseyside they are serious about the title and will be looking to do everything possible to achieve it, with Liverpool being one of the most likely candidates to become champions in England.
