Liverpool's Colombian striker, Luis Fernando Díaz, highlighted his friendship with Darwin Núñez and the rest of the Latinos, something that he considers important in the "day to day".

The Colombian and the Uruguayan showed from the beginning a friendship that transcended the playing field and he did not hesitate to transmit it in an interview that he conducted for Sports Illustrated.

Diaz was asked who his closest teammates are on the Reds and he said: “The Latinos I have there.”

“There is Darwin, who is very cool, Maca (Mac Allister) too, we are and the three of us go together everywhere, here and there, they drink their mate and I accompany them,” he commented,

“Alisson [Brazilian goalkeeper], of course, is an incredible person. They are the ones who contribute a lot to your life,” he added.

Then, when he had to talk about what he likes most about Liverpool, the Guajiro was direct: the people.

“People have made me feel like one of them, they have given me a lot of love, they have sung me a song and so on. Seeing them sing to you and all that, it's something incredible,” he concluded.
