Liverpool are having a great season in both the Premier League and the Champions League. Meanwhile, the management has had a hard time negotiating with the stars whose contracts are ending. Now, while Luis Díaz 's entourage is pushing for a salary increase, it has been revealed that two of the main figures of the squad have reached an agreement.

It's no secret that Liverpool have been in negotiations with several of their players to extend their contracts. Several of the team's mainstays are ending their contracts in June, including Mohamed Salah, Virgil Van Dijk and Trent Alexander Arnold.

Anfield Edition has confirmed that two of these players have reached an agreement with the Reds to continue with the team.

“ We understand that both Mohamed Salah and Virgil van Dijk have signed new deals to extend their stay at Liverpool .”

It is worth remembering that, weeks ago, Mohamed Salah himself revealed in an interview that his time with Liverpool was over. The Egyptian had made the decision to leave after the end of his contract, but the club had managed to convince him to stay.

Luis Diaz renews with Liverpool?

Moving away from their main priorities, Liverpool 's management is expected to open negotiations with Luis Díaz to improve his contract. It is worth remembering that the Colombian maintains the same contract as when he arrived in 2022, having one of the lowest salaries in the entire squad.
