Liverpool manager praises Darwin Núñez: “He showed how important he can be”

Liverpool manager Arne Slot has singled out Darwin Núñez for his performance against PSG at the Parc des Princes, where he provided the assist for Harvey Elliot's winning goal in the first leg of the Champions League round of 16.

Slot commented that, after the Aston Villa match on Matchday 29 of the Premier League, about 20 days ago, “he was in a difficult position”. However, “today he showed how important he can be”.
