After the first half of the season, the Reds remain at the top of the Premier League, so now it will be more complex to maintain this position until the end of the season, so the whole team must continue as before, as everyone has improved a lot compared to last season, so the value of many of the players has increased after the latest report from the CIES.

The CIES is the International Centre for Sports Studies, an independent think tank based in Neuchâtel, Switzerland. So it was recently revealed the market value some Reds players have reached, starting with Argentine Alexis Mac Allister, who is reportedly worth €106 million. Mac Allister has been a key player for the Reds to be at the top of the Premier League and arrived this season at Anfield with a value of €42 million, so that value does not sound so crazy after what Chelsea paid for Romeo Lavia and Moises Caicedo.
The second would be Uruguayan Darwin Núñez, who was bought by the Reds in 2022 for €70 million, plus some fees that were recently paid to Portuguese side Benfica, for a total of €85 million so far. So after his first almost two years on Merseyside and having scored 23 goals in 72 appearances, he has also made 14 assists, making him worth €118 million.
While the highest cost so far, according to CIES, is undoubtedly Hungarian Dominik Szoboszlai, who despite arriving this summer like Alexis Mac Allister, the Hungarian has quickly endeared himself to the fans and Szoboszlai has made it clear that he is a world class player. On Merseyside he has made 26 appearances this season, scoring four goals and assisting three, and is so far the Reds' best signing of the season at €70 million, so his value has risen to €139 million.

Liverpool remain top of the Premier League, but Klopp now has this concern
Following the CIES report on the new value of these Reds players, there is only one player who raises doubts, as his value seems a bit high for what he has shown so far, the Dutchman Cody Gakpo, who arrived in the winter of last year for a value of €42 million. So far, Gakpo has played a total of 53 games scoring 16 goals and providing 6 assists. So according to the latest CIES report Cody would now have a new value of €101 million, being the only player who has generated doubts about this new market value.
