Jurgen Klopp remains convinced and is backing the Uruguayan striker. Liverpool crushed Chelsea in a demonstration of authority on Wednesday. It was a 4-1 win, even with Salah absent and a historic performance, on the downside, from Darwin Nunez, who took it upon himself to break a Premier League all-time record.

Darwin, who missed a penalty in the match, crashing his shot against the left-hand post of Petrovic's goal, also found the edge of the net on three other occasions during the match. This marks a new Premier League all-time record, as never before has a player hit the post four times in a single match.
To make matters worse, the Uruguayan did not convert in the match, with goals coming through Diogo Jota, youngster Conor Bradley, Dominik Szoboszlai and Colombian Luis Diaz. However, Jurgen Klopp took it upon himself to single out the Celeste striker after the game.
"He had an insane first half, he was impossible to defend, really good," Klopp said of Darwin's performance. "Missing the penalty was hard for him, you could see it in the second half when he missed that header as well. But then he created the play for the goal, it's crazy that he creates so many situations. He's in extraordinary form, even if he lacked a bit of luck, so it's all good," added the coach.
