The Premier League is a very demanding league with two domestic cups to play for, so the teams that always fight for the titles must have teams with enough players to be able to win the title. So in Liverpool, despite not having a team full of great players, those who are there have done a great job.

So next Sunday, the team will face Arsenal in Matchday 3 of the FA Cup, and with the injury to Dominik Szoboszlai the team has a total of 7 injured, in addition to the absence of Mohamed Salah and Wataru Endo. This has prompted Jürgen Klopp to keep an eye on the youth players, who have already been put through their paces ahead of the game against the Gunners.

Friday's training session saw the likes of Trey Nyoni, Kaide Gordon, Lewis Koumas, Owen Beck and Bobby Clark looking for a chance in the face of a host of absentees. Kaide Gordon has been one of the big news, as the youngster has great qualities, however an injury stopped his great growth.

Owen Beck is another of the big revelations of this season, as the youngster is the only one to return to the team with a lot of playing time, as well as coming in to play in the face of injuries to Kostas Tsimikas and Andy Robertson. While Trey Nyoni, Lewis Koumas and Bobby Clark, who will be looking to make a name for themselves in order to have more opportunities in the future.

Other players seen at Friday's training session

It's been a busy week at Anfield, with several players returning from loan spells due to lack of game time in most cases, so Friday's training session saw Nat Philips, who returns from his loan spell with Celtic in Scotland and who may be able to be active with the loss of Joel Matip for the rest of the season through injury.
