One of the notable absentees of the season was Conor Bradley, who returned to the club after a successful loan spell at Bolton, where Bradley showed great potential, earning a starting place. He was named player of the season with an excellent future.

So his injury came as a big surprise, and it was believed that this could hinder his career progress, however Bradley appears to be at the same or better level than when he returned to Merseyside, increasing his market value considerably, equalling the value of Manchester United legend Jonny Evans, who has made 18 appearances this season, being a regular.

With his performances at Bolton and minutes this season, 20-year-old Conor Bradley is now worth €2 million, matching the value of the 35-year-old Evans. With the start for Bradley being a huge advantage, while Bradley's value is on the rise, Jonny Evans' is on the decline. While Evans peaked at €15 million in his prime, Bradley can surely be worth twice that in no time at all if he continues to do so.

Given Conor Bradley's excellent form, it shows that he could be the replacement for Trent Alexander-Arnold to play from the start of games as a midfielder. This season, Bradley will have to be very consistent and maintain his best level, as while Joe Gomez has done a great job of filling in for the absentees in defence in the team, Bradley looks to have a bright future. So this would give Bradley preference over Gomez to play in place of TAA.
