Xabi Alonso's arrival at Liverpool appears to be the best option for both club and manager, as Xabi knows what it means to represent and win titles with the Reds. His excellent performance as a coach could have a great continuation at Anfield, where he will undoubtedly be welcomed back after the announcement of Jürgen Klopp.

Change of plans, Xabi Alonso was not always Liverpool's first option
While Xabi Alonso's name is strongly linked with Liverpool, it seems to be getting closer and closer. Thanks to his excellent work on the bench at Bayer Leverkusen, Xabi is wanted by several teams, however, none seem to have what Xabi has wanted so much. The Spaniard seems to want a return to Merseyside rather than any other destination.
This has been confirmed by his former German team-mate Bastian Schweinsteiger, who recently said: "I know Xabi and I think his big dream is to coach Liverpool and I imagine it will be this summer when he leaves. Which is a preview of the decision the Spanish coach could make in the face of Jürgen Klopp's decision to leave Liverpool at the end of the season.
Bastian Schweinsteiger and Xabi Alonso played together in an era of glory for Bayern Munich, where they won a Bundesliga together. Xabi was a kind of substitute for the German, because the following season, Schweinsteiger left to play for Manchester United. So Bastian had enough time to get to know Xabi, so the German can't seem to be wrong in his statements.

If it wasn't Xabi Alonso, this would be the other candidate to replace Klopp
The decision that Xabi could make would be purely for love of the club, as although the Spaniard is a very good coach, Xabi could make the decision to manage Bayern Munich, without having to change league and continue to conquer the Bundesliga, however, the feeling that Alonso has for the Reds is unique, and that feeling would be what would make Xabi return after 15 years to the team with which he was able to exploit his potential.
