In a recent "Ask Me Anything" segment with the Premier League, Alisson Becker and Darwin Núñez, Liverpool stars, shared their musical tastes, giving a glimpse of their personalities off the pitch.
When asked about the music he listens to most frequently, the Brazilian goalkeeper’s response reflected his appreciation for the classics:"I like many different music styles, but if I had to choose one song to play anywhere — in the car, before a match, or at a barbecue — it would be 'Sultans of Swing' by Dire Straits. Class."
Alisson’s choice, an iconic rock song, highlights his calm and sophisticated nature, qualities he also displays on the field as one of the world’s top goalkeepers.
Meanwhile, Darwin Núñez showed his nostalgic and Latin side when answering the same question:"I listen to reggaeton, especially old songs. The reggaeton from 2014 to 2016 is what was played at parties when I was 15 or 16 years old. I also listen to many Colombian artists; they’re doing really well now. But there’s always a lot of reggaeton."
The Uruguayan striker’s selection reflects his connection to Latin culture and his preference for the music that marked his teenage years, showing a laid-back and joyful spirit that he also brings to his playing style.
These small details reveal the differences and similarities between the players, who, despite their opposite musical styles, share a common passion: football.
