The Reds strategist is furious after the elimination of his team

There was no miracle at the Santiago Bernabeu and Liverpool were eliminated in the last 16 of the Champions League at the hands of Real Madrid, who won 6-2 on aggregate. This is a blow for the club and especially for the management of German coach Jurgen Klopp, who looked annoyed and frustrated throughout the game.

The Reds manager made a number of forced changes due to injuries to Jordan Henderson and Estefany, bringing on the likes of James Milner and Diogo Jota, although both were unused during the game and had to be substituted in the second half of the match.

The only goal of the match was scored by Real Madrid in the second half with a goal by Frenchman Karim Benzema who was assisted by Brazilian Vinicius after a distraction in the Reds' defence, especially by the colossus Virgil van Dijk. In attack, the most dangerous moves in the first half came from Uruguay's Darwin Núñez with a shot after receiving a pass from Mohamed Salah and then a long-range shot that was blocked by goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois.

Klopp furious with Elliot

In one of Liverpool's few attacks in the second half Harvey Elliott, the youngster who came on as a substitute, had a good approach into the box and when it looked like he had a chance to shoot to beat the Real Madrid goal he decided to pass to Andy Robertson and squandered the opportunity. This provoked the fury of the Reds coach who shouted angrily at him and almost ran onto the pitch.
