Two clubs on the islands are considering casting

Two clubs on the islands are considering casting their nets over Gavi, a player who is in a delicate situation. Yesterday, a court decision rendered the Andalusian's registration with FC Barcelona's first team invalid. "LaLiga has received notification from the 10th Commercial Court of Barcelona, informing of the lifting of the precautionary measures agreed on 31 January 2023 in the Gavi case. Barcelona did not comply with the deadlines established for the presentation of the main lawsuit".

Yesterday, FC Barcelona learned that, for failing to meet the deadlines set for Gavi's registration as a first team player, they will have to reverse the situation and reinstate him in the reserve team. Although it is hoped that the Catalan leaders manage to resolve the matter quickly, the court ruling means that, until then, the relationship between club and player will once again be governed by his previous contract, with a much lower salary and with an end coming up on 30 June.

As was to be expected, the Andalusian's delicate situation has not gone unnoticed. In fact, a report in the prestigious The Times already explains that two clubs of the stature of Liverpool and Manchester United could take advantage of the situation to cast their nets over a player for whom they have always felt a special attraction.

Klopp wants Gavi

In recent months, Gavi has shown a firm commitment to the club, so it seems unlikely that, at least for the time being, he will consider a move away. However, it remains to be seen what will happen if this scenario continues for longer than desired. Next issue to follow.
