The close of Matchday 15 in the Premier League provided some great games, and one of them was between one of the leaders of the Premier League 22/23 as Tottenham and the other struggling to move up the table after a terrible start to the season, as Liverpool.  In a 2-1 win the Red's broke their league losing streak and Spurs returned to defeat after three games.

Our Egyptian superstar Mo Salah continued his hot streak, scoring in four games in London, starting in Amsterdam against Ajax FC, through Anfield against Leeds United and SSC Napoli, to this past weekend, when he scored twice (11" and 40") to silence Tottenham Stadium.

These goals helped our number 11 to reach the coveted 125 Premier League goals, the same amount scored by former Arsenal FC legend Nicolas Anelka. According to tipster William Hill, only 16 players in the history of the competition have scored more goals than this pair of idols.

Nicolas Anelka, who retired from professional football in 2015 with Mumbai of India, played in the Premier League with Arsenal (1997), Liverpool (2002), Manchester City (2005), Bolton (2006) and Chelsea (2008). It is worth mentioning that the France international failed miserably with Real Madrid, and now the Frenchman will be watching from the sidelines as Salah could surpass those 125 goals in the Red's next EPL game, which will be next Saturday against Southampton.

Salah overtakes Anelka

Salah, who is playing his fifth season with The Pool, has 16 goals this term between FA Community Shield (1), Premier League (6), UEFA Champions League (7) and friendlies with the Egyptian national team (2). On the Pharaoh's agenda is the upcoming EFL Cup game against Derby Country and the EPL match against The Saints; despite not participating in the World Cup in Qatar, Salah will participate with Bein Sports as a commentator.
