Klopp accepts his mistake in the rematch against Real Madrid

After a VAR review, German referee Felix Zwayer did not award a handball to Liverpool defender Konstantinos Tsimikas. Karim Benzema received an assist from Vinicius Jr from the floor and scored into an empty net to make it 1-0 to Liverpool and leave the series 6-2 on aggregate.

Klopp knows where it went wrong

After the defeat and elimination from the Champions League, Jürgen Klopp said at a press conference: "After the international break, we have a proper week ahead of us -- City, Chelsea and Arsenal. That will probably define what we get out of the season. We prepared for a special performance tonight but it didn't happen.
