According to information from ESPN Brazil, Carlo Ancelotti has said yes to the CBF to become the new coach of the Brazil national team from July. The contract would be for three years and would end after the 2026 World Cup. This news comes ahead of the Club World Cup final, but especially in the run-up to the Champions League last-16 clash with Liverpool.

Carlo Ancelotti has reportedly said yes to the CBF to take over as Brazil coach from July 2023, according to ESPN. The Real Madrid coach has committed to the Canarinha until 2026, when the next World Cup ends. The Italian coach's entourage, however, acknowledged to Mundo Deportivo that there is interest from the Brazilian Confederation in hiring him, but that nothing has been finalised because the coach wants to fulfil his contract with Real Madrid.
