With the transfer window about to begin in England, rumors about possible arrivals and departures are becoming more and more frequent, and one of the most talked-about names to leave Anfield is that of promising youngster Fabio Carvalho, who according to the Transfermarkt portal is valued at 20 million euros.
The 20-year-old Portuguese is considered one of Liverpool's most promising players, and according to journalist Fabrizio Romano, Jürgen Klopp wants to keep him in the team because he considers him a key player in the Reds' future project. However, Carvalho has not played as long as he would like and that could lead to his departure.
In that sense and after Liverpool failed to qualify for the next Champions League, Klopp and the Anfield board are looking for players who can immediately contribute to the club, something they believe Carvalho still can't do, which would mean even less playing time for the young player.
Given this, the Reds are aware that they cannot guarantee Fabio Carvalho much playing time, so if the player wants to leave, the board would not prevent him from doing so although they would try to negotiate clauses that would allow them to keep Carvalho's talent secured.
Being a player with good qualities and a great future, several teams have contacted Liverpool to inquire about the availability of Fabio Carvalho, who is under contract with the Reds until 2027. The team showing the most interest in the 20-year-old Portuguese is Bundesliga side RB Leipzig, who would be willing to guarantee the player playing time in order to convince him to sign for them.
Liverpool, on the other hand, would try to loan him out without an option to buy, or add a buy-back clause in the event of a definitive transaction.
