There is no doubt that Mohamed Salah is one of the best players in the world even at 31 years of age, and of course no one can deny that he is a living legend of our Liverpool. The Pharaoh has won everything possible with the club, but it also seems that every weekend he breaks a new record or reaches a new milestone and the match against Aston Villa was no exception.
Mohamed Salah scored the third goal of the match to seal the Reds' victory at Anfield, and with that goal the Egyptian winger made it 10 consecutive Premier League games scoring or assisting, something that no one has been able to achieve since 2021 when, precisely he did it by being directly involved in a goal for 15 games in a row.
But Salah's feats do not stop there, because now with his goal against Aston Villa, the Pharaoh has scored in 150 different games with our Liverpool, a sign of how important he has been since he joined the team and how his legend continues to grow before our eyes. But yes, as expected, Salah's records and milestones don't stop and now the Anfield legend is very close to an impressive achievement that will cement his place as one of the best players in Premier League history.
With his goal against Aston Villa, Mohamed Salah reached 141 goals in his Premier League career. Of those 141 goals, 139 have been scored in our Liverpool shirt, and he is now just 9 goals away from entering the Top 10 of all-time Premier League top scorers, as with 150 goals he would catch up with another Reds legend, Michael Owen.
