Mané will play for Al-Nassr, see what Klopp had to say about his failed Bayern move

Things don't always go the way you want them to and Sadio Mané is the perfect example of that. Despite having everything at Liverpool he decided, a year ago, to leave Anfield to try his luck with FC Bayern, as he thought he could continue his successful career in the Bundesliga, but unfortunately for him it was not the case, as in Germany he could never find his best version of himself either on or off the pitch and now he will leave European football to join Cristiano Ronaldo at Al-Nassr.

According to Fabrizio Romano, Sadio Mané has already reached an agreement in terms of his contract to sign with the Saudi club, after Bayern's board accepted Al-Nassr's offer to sign the former Liverpool star. In that sense, the Italian journalist assured that the Senegalese attacker has already undergone medical tests in Dubai with the Saudi Pro League club and has thus become the team's new player.

Sadio Mané's departure from European football comes as a surprise to many, especially considering how it happened. Bayern's new coach, Thomas Tuchel, made it clear that he was not counting on Mané for next season, even though the player had declared his intention to stay one more year in the Bundesliga to earn a place in the team. However, Tuchel assured that there are no hard feelings between him and Sadio, and also lamented that things have not worked out as they had hoped. "We had a big hug. We agreed that we don't like what's happening now but that it's the best in this situation. I totally understand that he feels hurt.  I also don't feel happy. We didn't bring it to the full potential which is my responsibility."

Sadio Mané's former Liverpool manager Jürgen Klopp shared his thoughts on Mané's failed move to Bayern, a club he joined a year ago as one of the world's best players.

"I don't know what went wrong. When Sadio left us he left on a high in really good shape - world class player. To fulfill your full potential everything has to fall in place, you need a bit of luck and that wasn't the case," he said.
