Fabinho will leave a big hole in Liverpool's squad

This summer Liverpool fans have witnessed the departure of Jordan Henderson, who after twelve years and many titles, left Anfield to join the long list of players joining the Saudi Pro League. Now, Fabinho is also set to leave the club for Saudi Arabia and will leave a huge hole in Liverpool's squad, as Jürgen Klopp had considered him to be a starter for next season.

While it is true that the departures of Henderson and Fabinho were not budgeted for, Liverpool will receive £52 million in total for both transfers and will be able to accelerate the midfield renewal process that has been much talked about since the end of last season.

In that sense, Jürgen Klopp and the Anfield board have focused on signing young players who can be part of the club's future project. So far, we have only signed two new players, but both Dominik Szoboszlai and Alexis Mac Allister are players with a lot of potential and are expected to play a leading role from the start of the next campaign.

Liverpool are currently said to be focused on finalizing the purchase of Romeo Lavia, as the Reds' board have already sent a second bid of £45 million which they hope will be enough to convince Southampton. But, according to various reports, Liverpool have just secured the arrival of another player who could be Fabinho's heir.

Who is Liverpool's new player?

According to The Secret Scout, Liverpool have beaten off several teams to sign Leicester City midfielder Trey Nyoni, who is just 16 years old and was already wanted by several clubs. According to the source, the Reds have already secured his purchase, which they had been seeking for months.
