Players with great security needed

Although since Jordan Henderson's first departure to Arabia it was already stipulated that the priority was to fill the captain's void with another midfielder, however, with Fabinho's departure the need for a midfielder has become more urgent, as the team is in need of a natural holding midfielder with a more destructive than creative vocation, and although a couple of players are already being considered to join Liverpool, negotiations seem to be going very slowly.

For a couple of weeks now Liverpool have shown a keen interest in Romeo Lavia, the 19-year-old having been rated as Southampton's best player last season, and his price tag is also very high, the reason why the deal has so far failed to go through, with the Saints having turned down two formal bids from the Reds to date.

However, Liverpool have also shown great interest in Brazilian Serie A youth player André of Fluminense, who has already had some dealings with Liverpool in the past and perhaps for a couple of seasons now the Reds have been thinking about signing André, as the youngster in his time at Fluminense has been the best player of the so-called golden generation in his team's youth ranks, and now that the youngster is shining, the Reds will be looking to sign him.

The priority at Anfield

By having these two midfielders in his sights for a signing to replace the sensitive midfield losses, and according to Fabrizio Romano Jürgen Klopp has well stipulated who is his priority and knows that Romeo Lavia is the most important signing at the moment because despite being a 19 year old youth, he is a midfielder who already knows what it is like to play in the Premier League so he is the best option for the Reds to have a more competitive team for the next season.
