The signing is hours away from becoming official

Finally, it seems that Fabinho's signing with Al-Ittihad is about to become a reality, as the 29-year-old Brazilian playmaker is already sure that he will be a new Al-Ittihad player, as journalist Fabrizio Romano has assured that Fabinho has already passed the medical tests with the Saudi club and has taken for granted that the signing will take place.

According to the Italian journalist, Liverpool and Al-Ittihad are still waiting to sign the documents, but there should be no problem as both sides have already reached a verbal agreement on the transfer fee of £60 million, which will link him for three years with the Saudi club where he will join Karim Benzema and N'Golo Kanté who will be his new teammates.

Fabinho will thus leave Anfield after five years at the club with which he won every trophy possible during his time at the club, being one of the key players in the team's success in recent years. And his departure, although not budgeted, will leave Liverpool with a good amount of money that will allow them to sign other players, while Fabinho already knows which number he will wear in his new team.

What number will Fabinho wear at Al-Ittihad?

According to the portal Itti Mania, Fabinho is very close to signing for Al-Ittihad. According to this media, the Brazilian midfielder will use the same number he used at Anfield all these years, the number 3.
