Our Liverpool board has been very clear about the Mohamed Salah issue and Al-Ittihad's interest in taking our best player before the end of the transfer window back in Saudi Arabia. The answer to any offer, official or verbal, will be no. Salah is untouchable and will not leave the club, at least not this season.
However, it seems that Al-Ittihad does not believe that Liverpool's refusal is real and perhaps they think it is a negotiation strategy to obtain a higher offer, which it is said could arrive this week, as according to journalist Ben Jacobs they could present a package of up to £200 million in the next 48 hours.
Many media have reported that although Salah has no intention of leaving Anfield this summer either, he would be interested in listening to offers and considering them for the 2024 transfer window, when he has just one year left on his Liverpool contract. On that note, many fans are concerned that this could be Salah's last season with Liverpool, and in that regard Andrew Robertson has revealed whether that concern has reached the Liverpool dressing room.
For Andrew Robertson the situation currently surrounding Mohamed Salah is not something that is causing concern among the players in the squad, as they are aware of Salah's desire to remain with the club. "For us there is no concern, For us Mohamed Salah is a Liverpool player and we believe that is what is going to be the case for the foreseeable future" he said.
