Eight players have already reported to Liverpool for training ahead of pre-season training

Last season did not turn out as we all expected, because after having had years full of success, our Liverpool had a disappointing 2022-2023 campaign in which we were left out of the next edition of the Champions League. That's why, facing the next season, there are certain things that must change and Jürgen Klopp is aware of that.

That is why, just 46 days after the last game of the previous season was played, some players have already reported with Liverpool to start training for the pre-season. Just eight players are already working at the club's facilities in order to reverse what happened last season.

However, while some players show their commitment to the team, there are others who prefer to remain on vacation, even knowing that they do not have a secure place in Jürgen Klopp's squad. Such is the case of right-back Konstantinos Tsimikas, who played just 20 Premier League games last season and has been unable to establish himself as a starter since his arrival at the club in 2020, when the board paid €13 million for him.

Tsimikas' vacation

Through a post on his official Instagram account, Konstantinos Tsimikas showed a photo of him enjoying the sun on vacation. This has sparked some criticism among Liverpool fans who expect much more from him next season and there are those who believe he should also be training alongside his teammates.
