Liverpool have shown serious interest in signing the Brazilian from Fluminense for weeks now.

Our Liverpool continues in the search to sign more reinforcements to better face the 2023-2024 season, in which the team will seek to reverse the failure of last season when they did not even get a ticket to the Champions League. In that sense, one of the players who have been most linked with Liverpool in recent weeks is Brazilian midfielder André Trindade.

André, 22, has become one of the most important players for his club Fluminense, which is currently competing in the Copa Libertadores, South America's most important club tournament. The interest of Jürgen Klopp and the Anfield board in André dates back to a couple of weeks ago when Romeo Lavia and his £50 million price tag prevented his arrival at Anfield, so the Brazilian emerged as an alternative to the possible non-signing of Lavia.

However, despite the fact that the signing of Andre looked, in theory, much simpler than that of Lavia so far everything has remained in rumors, but several journalists have confirmed that the interest in André is real by our Liverpool that could still try to make a move to bring him to Anfield and continue to strengthen the midfield of the team.

When could André's move to Liverpool become a reality?

According to journalist François Plateau, Liverpool and Fluminense are very optimistic that an agreement can be reached to sign André and that the Brazilian will become a new Reds player. However, it remains to be seen whether it is in this transfer window or if they finally agree to sign him in January 2024. The reason is that Fluminense are not sure they want to let him leave the club while they have a chance to win the Copa Libertadores.
