Mohamed Salah turned down an offer to join Saudi Arabia's football league in June 2023 when the league began investing heavily in high-profile signings, including players like Neymar, Karim Benzema, and Sadio Mané.
However, the Saudi club Al-Hilal is not giving up on signing the Egyptian forward. They are now preparing a massive offer to convince Salah to leave Liverpool and become a star in the rapidly growing Middle Eastern league. Al-Hilal is reportedly ready to offer Liverpool €235 million for the player, and they are also offering Salah the chance to surpass Neymar’s transfer fee, which was a record €222 million when PSG paid it in 2017.
Salah’s contract with Liverpool runs until June 2025, but with the planned departure of Jürgen Klopp at the end of the current season, it is speculated that several players, including Salah, might be considering new opportunities.
