Thomas Frank, Brentford's Coach, Praises Liverpool After Yesterday's Match

The Brentford coach highlighted the completeness of the Anfield team after the match

In statements that have sparked widespread debate among football fans, Brentford manager Thomas Frank praised Liverpool, describing them as the most complete team at the moment and placing them ahead of major rivals like Manchester City and Arsenal.

"The best team in the world"

Frank did not hold back his admiration for the Reds after facing them, stating:

"I thought we played a very good game against the best team in the world right now. We did many things well. Our defense was solid, although we conceded some chances, but not too many. Perhaps we lacked that final touch. There were some promising opportunities that didn’t materialize due to an inaccurate pass or a heavy touch. Their center-backs were exceptionally effective."

The Danish coach highlighted that Brentford held their ground against Arne Slot's team but acknowledged that Liverpool's ability to dominate and constantly create danger was decisive in the outcome.

A step above City and Arsenal

Thomas Frank compared Liverpool to other Premier League heavyweights and pointed out that they are on a higher level:

"Having faced City and Arsenal recently, I can confidently say that Liverpool is a step above both. They are a complete team with exceptional work ethic and commendable defensive tracking."

The coach spared no praise for Liverpool’s players, emphasizing their attacking threat and balance across all areas of the pitch.

Title favorites

Frank concluded his remarks by positioning Liverpool as the top contenders for the Premier League title:

"They have quality players all over the field and are particularly dangerous in attack. This team is, without a doubt, very, very impressive. They deserve recognition as the best in the Premier League and, undoubtedly, in the world, making them strong title favorites."

With these statements, the Brentford coach made it clear that, in his opinion, Liverpool not only leads the Premier League but also sets the standard worldwide.
