IBRAHIMA KONATÉ, POSSIBLE REAL MADRID SIGNING AFTER MILITÃO'S INJURY

According to Caught Offside, central defender Ibrahima Konaté has emerged as a potential target for Real Madrid. Although he isn’t one of the three Liverpool players most frequently linked with a move to the Santiago Bernabéu — Mohamed Salah, Virgil van Dijk, and Trent Alexander-Arnold, all free agents at the end of the season — Konaté’s name has now come into the picture.

MILITÃO’S INJURY IMPACT

The main reason for this interest is Éder Militão’s long-term injury, which leaves a gap in Real Madrid’s central defence. While the club continues to consider options to strengthen their backline, situations like this make Konaté a more prominent target, especially if a deal with Alexander-Arnold doesn’t materialise.

DEFENCE A PRIORITY FOR REAL MADRID

Real Madrid, who are currently fighting for the La Liga title and dealing with defensive concerns in this season’s Champions League, may look to secure a central defender before the end of the month at the very least.

If a move for Trent Alexander-Arnold doesn’t come through immediately, Ibrahima Konaté could become their main target to bolster the defence.
