The Reds are interested in two players that a legend doesn't want on the team

Liverpool has been closely linked with moves for Leicester City midfielder Yuri Tielemans and Aston Villa's Douglas Luiz during the summer transfer window. Reds legend Steve McManaman has now claimed that no player has ever been enough to represent the club. Although those links are just rumors so far.

McManaman has recently spoken out of the possibility of Douglas Luiz and Youri Tielemans joining Liverpool. The two Premier League midfielders are already in the final year of their contracts with their respective clubs, which means the Reds could sign them on free transfers next summer. However, doesn't think it'd be a good move to go after them.

Liverpool legend Steve McManaman has requested Jurgen Klopp to not go these players. Although both players will be available for a reduced price. This seems something incredible because both of them have performed very well with both of their teams and right now Liverpool needs some fresh blood.

His exact words:

Most of us still can't believe what Steve McManaman said during an interview:  "Douglas Luiz and Youri Thielemans are good Premier League players, but I don't think they're good enough for Liverpool," he said. "I don't believe it was a smart deal for Liverpool to bring in Douglas Luiz, whether his contract is up or not. So what do you think? Are they a good fit for the new Liverpool?
