One of the players that Jürgen Klopp couldn’t use at the beginning of the Premier League was Thiago Alcántara because of an old injury, which prevented his presence at Stamford Bridge against Chelsea Football Club, who stole two young players last week. The Spanish football player is a key piece for the German coach in the Reds’ starter lineup.

One week ago, Thiago returned officially to Liverpool’s training and that was great news for Klopp and his technical staff. Even more, Alcántara could be considered the third new face in this summer market transfer, apart from the Argentinian midfielder Alexis Mac Allister and the Bulgarian Dominik Szoboszlai.

Without official communication about his current situation on Liverpool’s website or social media, the injury is a matter of the past and has been forgotten. As the days and weeks went by, the right-foot Iberic professional athlete will increase the loads and intensity of the practices.

Furthermore, his return depends on a new player who could arrive very soon to reinforce the midfield, an area where players like the English Jordan Henderson, the Brazilian Fabinho, and the Britannic James Milner played until June. Last few days and hours, Liverpool has been looking for new choices for the mentioned place in the field, but nobody was confirmed by Liverpool’s executive yet.

When could Thiago play for Liverpool once again?

According to the last training images, Thiago Alcántara must wait between two more weeks and one more month to be 100 percent. When the time comes, surely the German coach will use him in one of the following Liverpool’s official games in September or October. What is obvious is that won’t play against Bournemouth next Saturday at Anfield in the first match of the current season at home.
