Liverpool targeting one of the players Chelsea are reluctant to let go

Everything seems to indicate that our Liverpool is totally focused on continuing to sign players, because so far the transfer market has not been as expected at first, when it was said that we would be one of the most active teams of the summer. Although the board already finalized a transfer, now they want to take the next step and would be very close to steal a player from Chelsea to bring him to Anfield.

In recent weeks there have been rumors about Liverpool's interest in a number of players, but as time goes by the team is focusing on those players who really have a chance of being signed by the club. In that sense, Jürgen Klopp and his coaching staff would have set their eyes on one of the most promising players, not only of Chelsea, but of all English football, as for many he could become an international figure.

We are talking about Levi Colwill, a 20-year-old central defender who belongs to Chelsea, but who played last season on loan with the surprising Brighton team, which curiously finished in a better position than Chelsea itself, largely thanks to the good performances of Colwill, who played 17 Premier League games.

Currently, Colwill is valued at 30 million euros, a very high amount for a player of his age, which tells you about his great qualities and above all the enormous potential he has. That is why, for months, Klopp has been tracking him, as he is convinced that he could be a fundamental piece for the Reds' new project.

Chelsea considers Colwill as an "untouchable" player

According to information from Fabrizio Romano, the Chelsea board has offered Levi Colwill a long-term contract renewal, but the player has not wanted to sign because he wants to talk first with Mauricio Pochettino to know what his role in the team will be. He also assured that the Blues consider Colwill an "untouchable" player.
