They may shine with the Reds, but how will they fare away from Anfield?

No doubt in football there are good and bad seasons, but there are players who shine in one team and leave never to shine again elsewhere, you would think they were born to play for one team and make their whole career at one club, But when they leave the club that made them shine it seems that they lose their compass and do not find a comfortable place anywhere else other than where they have already shone, and there are many cases where a footballer shines at a club and leaves to get lost, at Anfield there are very particular cases during the tenure of Jürgen Klopp.

In Liverpool players like Philippe Coutinho who shone at Anfield and then was bought by Barcelona in the most expensive signing in the history of the Blaugrana club paying 120 million and not performing half of what was expected in Spain, Or the case of Georginio Wijnaldum who at Anfield won the Champions League and arrived at PSG as a great reinforcement to snatch it from Barcelona and between injuries or Covid-19 did not shine in the Parisian box and has been a great disappointment or the German Emre Can who after four years at Liverpool went to Serie A with La Vecchia Signora and was nothing of what he showed at Anfield being another disappointment.

Another big failure, the most recent and most talked about so far, is that of the Senegalese Sadio Mané, who after six seasons at Anfield and after winning everything with the Reds, shining and being a very important pillar in Jürgen Klopp's team to win the Premier League and the Champions League, He arrived at Bayern Munich to become the highest paid player in the league, but it was not the best decision as his time in Germany was a disaster, and perhaps Bayern fans will remember him more for punching teammate Leroy Sané than for his performances on the pitch.

The new destination for the Reds' biggest stars

In this transfer window, the Reds have so far added two very sensitive departures, Roberto Firmino and Jordan Henderson to the Saudi Arabian league, another who could join them in a short time is Fabinho who is practically arranging the final details to arrive in Arabian lands, It remains to be seen how they fare in this new adventure and to know if this particularity continues with players who shone in Liverpool and do not find their best version again on the pitch, since at Anfield they shone and won everything with the Reds becoming great references of Liverpool and in fact Hendo is now a legend of the Reds.
