Since the end of last season, Jürgen Klopp has reportedly communicated to the board his desire to rebuild the team, for which he would need several signings, especially in midfield, where Liverpool suffered several departures this summer.
The board seemed to agree with the German tactician and, so far, has managed to secure the arrival of two of Klopp's main targets, as Alexis Mac Allister and Dominik Szobozlai became the team's new reinforcements, for whom a total of 96 million pounds have been spent.
However, everything seems to indicate that Jürgen Klopp would not be satisfied with that, and would still be looking for the arrival of at least two more players, but various media have assured that the Reds board would have to sell some players first before continuing to sign more reinforcements.
This seems to be of no concern to Klopp, who would already have his two players chosen to reinforce the team this summer. For central defense, Klopp would have his eyes on Perr Schuurs, who currently plays for Serie A side Torino. While for the midfield, the priority would be the arrival of Romeo Lavia, a 19-year-old player who belongs to Southampton and for whom they are already in negotiations.
According to several media reports, Torino would be asking around £34 million for Perr Schuurs. In addition, Liverpool would also have to pay another £50 million if it wants to sign Romeo Lavia, as Southampton has been adamant to lower the price of the Belgian midfielder. In other words, if the board are to please Jürgen Klopp they will have to spend £84 million more on top of the £96 million they have already spent.
