This summer has so far turned out to be very different to what was originally planned for our Liverpool, as the Reds were expected to be one of the most active teams in terms of signing new players, but so far only two players have joined the squad and the Premier League is just a week away from kicking off.

Contrary to popular belief, our Liverpool has been one of the teams that have sold the most players this summer, as so far there have been a total of 20 players who have left the club, either on loan or as a permanent sale. However, the two sales that really threw our team off balance were those of Jordan Henderson and Fabinho, both of whose departures were not budgeted for.

However, their departures have left a total of almost £53 million, and according to the latest reports there could be at least one more departure before the end of the transfer window, as a possible exit has been reported that could leave £10 million in the club's pockets, which could help bring other players to the team this summer.

The player who will leave for £10 million

According to journalist Rudy Galetti, Liverpool defender Nat Phillips is reportedly in advanced negotiations to join Leeds United, as talks between the two sides appear to be close to a £10 million deal including add-ons. This amount could help, for example, the Anfield board to secure the arrival of Romeo Lavia.
