Liverpool stalling in their negotiations

Liverpool stalling in their negotiations

It seems that the case of Romeo Lavia is becoming increasingly complex and it seems that the Saints do not intend to lower their financial demands for the 19-year-old Belgian player, however the transaction seems to be in a stalemate as there is no agreement on both sides and this has raised doubts about the arrival of Lavia to the Reds, and this would make Anfield continue thinking about other options in case they are able to finalise the arrival of Lavia

However Lavia remains a priority for Liverpool and according to information from Anfield it is understood that the Reds already have personal agreements with Romeo Lavia, but in the absence of an agreement between the clubs the transaction can not move forward, and that Romeo Lavia has already informed Southampton of his desire to join Liverpool but there is still nothing certain for his arrival.

Liverpool would be willing to make their third offer to try to sign the Belgian midfielder, and in an interview Russell Martin, coach of the Saints, stated that as negotiations have stalled, Romeo Lavia will be participating in the start of the FL Championship where Southampton will be visiting Sheffield Wednesday, given the insistence of the Reds to obtain the services of Romeo Lavia.

More and more is being asked for the Belgian

In a report by Fabricio Romano it is reported that one of the reasons why negotiations are stalled is that the Saints are now asking for £58 million, so the Reds are increasingly thinking about their offer to try to sign the 19-year-old midfielder, and it is still a priority for the Reds to sign the Belgian, however and if the arrival of Romeo Lavia at Anfield occurs, Liverpool would seek to obtain the services of Andre from Fluminense.
