José Enrique has his Reds MVP against Newcastle

Liverpool were able to close another magnificent performance this Saturday at Saint James Park against Newcastle after winning 2-0 with goals from Colimaco and Darwin Núñez who shone and showed that they are returning to a good level. Although for the player José Enrique it was another player who shone more than the others.

It seems that the Reds are coming out of the crisis and the bad moment they lived the last few weeks and now they showed all their class by beating the Magpies 2-0, taking advantage of the expulsion of goalkeeper Nick Pope. This is also thanks to the motivation given to them by the German coach Jürgen Klopp.

This good result coupled with the win in the Merseyside Derby against Everton comes at an excellent time ahead of Tuesday's Champions League round of 16 clash with Real Madrid. Liverpool are dreaming of reaching the final again after losing to the Spaniards in Paris last year.

<strong>Allison is MOTM</strong>

José Enrique is very active on social media and during the match they had castle showed who his favourite Liverpool player is. He made reference to the great performance of goalkeeper Allison who saved a great play from the Saint Maximin attacker. In fact, he uploaded a photo with Pepe Reina's gloves on, referring to the fact that he helped Allison to save the save.
