The Colombian has had a few days to adapt and now wants to shine

Luis Diaz is already in England and hopes to be present in Liverpool's next Premier League game. The player had until this Friday his first training with the Reds after arriving from the United States, where he was playing the FIFA Date with the Colombian national team.

The winger will undergo medical checks to determine the level of wear and tear he has suffered after the games. "Luis Diaz, Diogo Jota and Darwin Nunez will also be assessed after their participation in international matches," the club said in its official media, while manager Jurgen Klopp said he had not had the chance to work with the Colombian winger.

However, he will review his condition at training on Friday. Darwin Núñez, Luis Díaz and Diogo Jota all returned from international commitments. As always it is a long flight. Luis Diaz only landed on Thursday morning. I hadn't seen him yet. I hear he's fine, but I'll see him now only later. Darwin, yes, caution after intense travel and games. The same for Diogo," confirmed the German coach ahead of the last practice.

Luis Díaz was a starter in both of Colombia's matches. In the first game against Guatemala he was on the pitch for 64 minutes, while against Mexico he played the entire match and committed the penalty with which the rival opened the scoring. His presence in the game against Brighton is not in doubt. The left winger has been one of Liverpool's star performers this season. The player has played nine games between the Premier League, the Champions League and the Community Shield, of which he was crowned champion against Manchester City. The player has also scored nine goals.
