The next FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022 will have great protagonists in the stadiums of Doha and its surroundings, but it will also have important names that will have to live it through the television, as is the case of the Colombian Luis Diaz, player of Liverpool FC of England and that is located in the third place among the most expensive players outside the most important competition of selections.
The first in this ranking is the Norwegian Erling Halaand, a striker who plays for Manchester City in England. The player, who recently joined the reigning English champions, is valued at 210 million euros and his contract with the Citizens initially runs until 2027. The 22-year-old has an impressive tally of 237 goals in 282 games played.

In second place is Egypt's Mohamed Salah, Luis Diaz's team-mate at Liverpool FC in England. The African star has a contract with the English side until 2025 and his current valuation is 90.6 million euros. The striker's fortunes with the Egyptian national team have been somewhat unfortunate after losing the final of the most recent edition of the Africa Cup of Nations to Senegal on penalties. The same team knocked them out of Qatar 2022 in the recent African qualifiers by losing the final match.
In third place is Colombia's Luis Diaz, who is currently the team's most important player in international football. The Guajira-born player made his debut in 2018 with the tricolour jersey and to date has played 36 games for the 'cafeteros'. In that amount of duels he has scored eight goals and his most outstanding achievement was being the scorer of the recent Copa America 2021 and being chosen as the revelation player by the technical committee of Conmebol.
The 25-year-old, who has a contract until 2027, is worth more than 83 million euros. In his most recent game for Colombia he played 64 minutes against Guatemala and had no outstanding moments. He also played a few minutes against Mexico on Tuesday in Santa Clara, United States, before returning to the discipline of his club.
