Liverpool's Liverpool problems, Cody Gakpo's injury revealed and match to be missed

After the match against Tottenham, the bad news for the Reds is that they went from second place to fourth, as Arsenal also won, so they are one point above Liverpool and Spurs with 16 points, while the Reds were left with 15, and after their goal Cody Gakpo was injured.

So this game had a terrible outcome for Jürgen Klopp's side, and the German manager needs to think about how he will play his next Premier League games to stay in contention for the top spot, because although there is still no verdict on Gakpo's injury, it is not expected to be too serious.  However, after the end of the game at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, Cody was seen leaving the stadium with a brace on his knee, so this is not good news as it could be a significant injury, so it is expected that in the next few hours it can be determined exactly how serious the injury is.

At the moment one thing is certain and Gakpo will miss the next two Premier League games when the Reds visit Brighton on 8 October and the second game when they host Everton at Anfield on 21 October, so we are now awaiting his diagnosis so we can know exactly how long he will be out.

A chance for Nunez and Jota

Although Darwin Núñez has had great games so far this season, Cody Gakpo has been the starter in most of the matches, so after the Dutchman's injury the Charrúa and Diogo Jota will have to show that they can also be starters, so they will have to go out and play every game giving everything to help the team win and show Jürgen Klopp that they can also be starters.
