After the defeat to Arsenal, the German coach was left dissatisfied

With a grim look on his face after another Liverpool defeat, Jürgen Klopp spoke to English television and assessed the game against Arsenal, who won 3-2. The defeat left the Reds on 10 points, 14 behind Arteta's side at the top of the table. But Klopp does not want to look too closely: "We can't accept this situation.

Liverpool's poor form: "Now that this game is over, we can't accept this situation, it's not happening. We did a lot of good things, scored nice goals against the fittest team in the Premiership against a team that is not in form and we did well, but we lost 3-2. We need three points and this is the situation we have to solve".

How he can solve it: "Working, talking, thinking, probably the first thing, and then talking to the boys and then coaching them and helping them, and then coming back again. His position in the Premiership: "We don't have to look at the table yet. I know where we are without looking at it, we are not stupid, the table is not the problem, the problem is the points and we have to sort it out". On the injury report: "Luis Diaz has something wrong with his knee, it doesn't look good. Alexander Arnold had to come off because he had a sprained ankle [and Arthur Melo will not be available for three to four months]".

Jürgen Klopp has too many tasks ahead of him and one is to revive a team suffering a personality crisis. His charges have started to falter, Alexander-Arnold has become an oasis for the pace of wingers, and Gabriel Martinelli had no choice but to take advantage of the Liverpool full-back's worst moment. It was 1-0 and the game was going downhill for the in-form Gunners.

But Liverpool retained vestiges of the model that had once led them to glory and after a cross behind Alexander-Arnold's own back, Luis Diaz did not let the play die, fought it out, and without looking, safe in the knowledge that someone was passing by, laid it off to Darwin Nunez for the equaliser on the half-hour mark. It looked like a resurgence for the Reds, who grew into the game and dominated, but Martinelli again became infatuated with the ball, took control of the game and set up Saka for 2-1 before the break.
