Reds have strategy to sign Borussia Dortmund player

Things have changed in the case of Jude Bellingham, the 19-year-old Borussia Dortmund player for whom Liverpool, Real Madrid, Manchester United and Chelsea are all equally keen. First of all, the strategy for the midfielder has changed since Dortmund's desire to put the player on the market for a bid of just under 100 million euros (not the 150 million euros it was thought to be). With those sums Madrid do get into the fray, the problem for Los Blancos now comes from Jürgen Klopp's latest gamble.

The English media outlet Express reports that the English club are willing to bring forward their strategy to sign the Englishman from the summer of 2023 to this coming January, and that they will do so with a succulent offer that is also in line with the interests of the German club, as the aforementioned mass media report points out. Apparently, Klopp would have found the key to unblock Bellingham's situation ahead of time.

The newspaper claims that Dortmund are very interested in Naby Keita, who would be the key man in the operation. Thus, the Liverpool player would enter fully into the operation ensuring the success of the English with Bellingham, on whom they would pay a lower amount due to the inclusion of Keita in the operation. Of course, if this operation is already underway, it has caught Madrid off guard, who until now have been quiet about the player's desire to wear the white shirt.

It is true that the club are waiting for developments in the upcoming winter transfer window, which includes spending money on the same, but in the white dome believed that these expenses would be aimed at filling gaps left by the casualties of the World Cup, if any, or in the front, if Benzema continues to limp.

Naby Keita would be the bargaining chip

What they by no means expected was that the British midfielder would be in the running so soon. As it is, the Santiago Bernabeu are quietly waiting for a reaction from Bellingham, who they see as a replacement for Toni Kroos. There are those who claim that Asensio or Ceballos could be the Merengue counter-attack to the Reds' offer.
