Erling Haaland's performances and goalscoring streak make him the man to break the ice in the upcoming game against Liverpool. While it will be his first game at Anfield with Manchester City, the Norwegian has a history against the Reds. The 22-year-old striker, who comes into the clash after being rested in the draw against Copenhagen, has two previous appearances against Jürgen Klopp's side.

That Haaland was just taking his first steps in international football, but today he is a sure-fire goalscorer for Pep Guardiola's side and already has 20 goals in 13 games played in domestic and international competitions. Since his arrival at the Citizens in the last transfer window, except against Bournemouth on matchday two, the Norwegian has scored in each of the nine Premier League games he has played.

He also registered three assists for his team-mates. From Kevin De Bruyne to Phil Foden, Julian Alvarez to Bernardo Silva, Erling Haaland was able to respond to whoever his partner was in the box.
